Early in 2009, discussions began with both professional and serious recreational saltwater fly fishers about what would be the perfect rod to take on all of Australia's toughest species of fish ranging from big barra to the largest of our saltwater species. The answers were not surprising. Pure raw power. The ability to cast quickly and accurately. A fast loading rod that could shoot a line to distance. Design innovations that would ensure both comfort and efficiency to the fly fisherman. With that, the concepts for the Force M/V were borne and after well over a year of design and field testing. Rod Blank The rod blank had to be engineered in a new way. using a true multi-weight taper and and the applications of multi-modulus graphite through the length of the blank. This provided the casting characteristics required and delivered power deeper into the lower butt sections for taming the largest and most powerful of fish. The result is 9 ft. 3 piece rod in three distinct grain weights. |

Advanced Technologies Next came the technology required to match the blank. When casting heavy lines that hit the guides hard from a short distance, we needed a way to quickly tame line violence and with the least amount of resistance to impair casting. The design team decided to use one titanium ceramic oversized large stripping guide and one single foot choke ceramic guide that have been angled purposely to do just that. |

Comfort and Efficiency And finally to complete this unique rod, we matched very specific components and design ideas unlike any other saltwater rod offered. We stared by reversing the winding check to smooth out the front of the full wells grip. For comfort and a more stable grip, we extended the full wells grip over the reel seat. And finally came the genuine ALPS™ triangle dual uplocking reel seat made in the USA. |

The rods in this series feature state of the art components including a genuine ALPS uplocking reel seat, two stripping guides with titanium frames and ceramic inserts. Line guides are all titanium REC Recoil snake guides which are both the lightest and strongest snake guides in the world. The USA made satin matte blank is trimmed perfectly in deep emerald with gold accent wrappings. All components in this series are non-corrosive for years of use in the salt. The use of titanium and ceramic guides help anglers maintain frictionless line casting. This is simply the finest saltwater rod you can own. Premium aluminium rod tube and rod sock included. Custom options available upon request.
